Students for Falun Gong (SFFG) is an organization of young practitioners of Falun Gong, a spiritual meditation that teaches the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Members of SFFG attended the 2021 International Religious Freedom Summit in Washington, DC. At the Summit, government officials criticized Chinese authorities for their harsh treatment of religious and ethnic minorities. The SFFG team clarified for attendees the truth about Falun Gong persecution. One young practitioner explained how pharmaceutical companies were supplying medical equipment and immunosuppressants that supported forced organ harvesting in China. Another teenage visitor from Texas was so moved by what he learned at the SFFG booth that he later attended a rally protesting Chinese persecution. All told, attendees of the Summit were sympathetic with the plight of Falun Gong.
